The excrement of animals tells us about what they eat and don’t digest. For example the pellet of owls includes bones and heir of their prey, so we are able to identify what kind of animals they prey upon most. In the U.S. the pellets of burn owls are collected and used as natural educational products. These pellets are sterilized and easy to handle in size about 1.5 inches.

Burn owls live in the Pan-American continents, South East Asia, Australia, India, Europe and Africa. They are not found in cold and desert region. Prey items come in different species depending on availability. They eat small animals such as rodents, birds, lizards, frogs, and insects. Since a family of burn owls needs to eat about 1300 rats and 3000 rodents during the breeding season, burn owls are considered as beneficial animals to human. They significantly contribute to keep the population of animals in healthy condition.
